Services

Birthing Suites
Designed for your comfort and care, our birthing suites accommodate your labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum stay. Each suite features a multi-position birthing bed, private bathroom with a shower, state-of-the-art fetal monitoring, and other technology to provide high-quality care for you and your baby.
Breastfeeding Class
Are you a first-time mom planning to breastfeed? Join Breastfeeding Works! to gain essential tools for a successful and rewarding breastfeeding experience. Taught by Family Birthing Center nurse lactation consultants, there’s no charge for you or your partner to participate in Breastfeeding Works!, which is offered one Saturday a month from 9:00 am to noon. Cesarean Section Suites
Under specific circumstances, a doctor might determine that a C-section is a safer option for the mother, baby, or both. The Family Birthing Center is equipped with specialized surgical suites and a skilled team prepared for these deliveries. After the procedure, our registered nurses will provide guidance on what to expect during your recovery.
Childbirth Preparation Class
This engaging and informative class is perfect for first-time moms and their partners. Ideally beginning around the 30th week of pregnancy, you'll discuss strategies to deal with late pregnancy discomforts, the birthing process, pain-management techniques, what to expect at the hospital, basic infant care, and more. Offered throughout the year, Childbirth Preparation is a four-week series with each session lasting two hours. Register here for our Childbirth Preparation Class.
Level II Continuing Care Nursery
Babies that need additional specialized services – feeding assistance, breathing support, or incubation, for example – receive care at the Family Birthing Center. Our Center is licensed as a Level II Continuing Care Nursery by the Arizona Department of Health Services and certified by the Arizona Perinatal Trust.
