The Family Birthing Center team at YRMC East is here to guide and support moms and family members through all stages of this special time: pregnancy, delivery and parenthood. We understand what moms and families want because we’ve been sharing in the miracle of birth for generations.

Our Center is licensed as a Level II Continuing Care Nursery by the (ADHS) Arizona Department of Health Services and certified by the Arizona Perinatal Trust to care for high-risk newborns and their moms. We blend top technology and compassionate care in a Center that features:

• 16 spacious, private birthing rooms
• Dedicated cesarean-section operating suites
• Private triage rooms
• Outpatient testing areas
• Respite nursery
• Continuing care nursery for babies needing extra attention
