We do not accept paper résumés, nor do we accept an electronic résumé without a fully completed online application.     If you do not meet the minimum qualifications for the position or there are other applicants who better match the position requirements, you will receive an email notification from our recruiter letting you know that your application will not be forwarded on to the hiring manager. If your application has been forwarded to the hiring manager for review, you will also receive an email notification. You can track the status of your application(s) by logging into our career site using your login and password information.

    Our recruiters will review your application within 48 hours to make sure you meet the minimum qualifications for the position. We will also compare your qualifications and skills with all other candidates. We submit the most qualified candidates to the hiring manager for review.

    Be sure to include as many details as possible on the application. Include all certifications, licenses and education, including internships or externships. We set pay according to your experience – the more details, the better. Please do your best to highlight your experience as it relates to the job requirements. DO NOT refer to your résumé on the application. YRMC regards the job application as the official document; therefore, we need full details included.     Your application becomes inactive as soon as the job is filled. However, your online application will be archived and can be re-activated and resubmitted for other open jobs. Each time you apply for a job, you will have an opportunity to update your online application.

    YRMC’s system allows applicants to create what is referred to as a Job Search Agent. This is a saved notification that alerts a user when a job matching their previous search interests has been posted. If you set up a Job Search Agent you will receive an email notification every time a new job is posted that matches your criteria.     It varies depending on the position but it usually takes about 6-8 weeks to go through the hiring process.

    Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). We only recognize the American Heart Association (AHA) as the issuing agency. We require original certification cards to be presented before starting with YRMC.

    Generally speaking, there are two ways to get your foot in the door at YRMC.
    • Apply for our RN New Grad posting (open spring and fall) if you meet the minimum requirements.
    • If you have a minimum of 9 months of nursing experience, apply for a position within our Medical Surgical (Med/Surg) Department. Our Critical Care units require critical care experience as an RN and newer nurses are not usually qualified for these units.
