PHARMACY

Yavapai Regional Medical Center’s Pharmacy Department prepares drug therapies for inpatients, outpatients in the chemotherapy program, emergency room patients as well as for our IV therapy, Home health and Hospice departments. YRMC’s staff pharmacists also conduct in-service lectures for other hospital departments about drug use for specific conditions, potential side effects and how drug therapies may affect a patient’s lifestyle.

The YRMC Pharmacy operates 24 hours a day, 365 days per year and offers the following clinical services:

• Nutrition team consults
• Aminoglycoside pharmacokinetic dosing
• Pain management team
• Vancomycin dosing service
• Antibiotic consult and dosing service
• Anticoagulation Heparin/Warfarin service – pharmacist directed
• Digoxin/Theophylline dosing service

The YRMC Pharmacy is a Major Doctor of Pharmacy Rotation Site for the University of Arizona Pharmacy School and Midwestern College of Pharmacy.
