IV THERAPY

YRMC’s IV Therapy Department offers a highly trained staff and the latest in state-of-the-art technology and equipment to provide inpatients and outpatients with IV (intravenous) services that include IV medication administration, blood transfusions, chemotherapy, antibiotic therapy, therapeutic phlebotomy, injections, PICC insertions, and hydration. When a particular therapy is prescribed, skilled professionals administer the correct fluid at the designated flow rate and observe the patient regularly to ensure that the patient is comfortable and there are no complications. The IV Therapy Department is open 7 days a week.
